Being the obsessive photographer that I am, and just happening to be in a country of the child I have yearned for for more than 2 years you can imagine the difficulty of choosing just a few pictures to reflect our lives over the last few days. It's just not fair. My 8 GB memory card is almost full (I have another one don't worry) and I have to race against the time and technology to just load a few. The beauty and clarity that we experienced in Jaipur astounded me. I am so glad we kicked our own butts and the butt of our beautiful little champion traveling girls to experience this city. The pink city. The city of jewelry, and the city of printmaking and handy crafts. Chandigarh was innovative, new (only about 60 years old) and calm by India standards. Jaipur was radiant, traditional, glorious and sunny. That in itself was a breath of fresh air for us New Mexico born sun lovers. I will rush this post just to give you a glimpse of majestic Jaipur. But do know it kills me not to put at least 300 pictures up.
I knew you would love Jaipur...again...one of my favorite Indian cities! Funny, we have a picture of the same woman, taken 4 years ago!! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
