"Mommy can we please just get all fancy for dinner?" These girls love to dress up. With new bangles and hair accessories we couldn't ignore the nagging. Girls just want have fun. This was the best dining experience yet. With every restaurant adorned with china, silver and glasses, dining with Neha has not been a relaxing affair. Tonight however, we were all able to appreciate each others presence and the food. The girls ate the heck out of Salt and Pepper Tofu. Mike and I were happy to have a break from Indian goulash. Chinese food was the specialty and we are grateful for good manners in children. Tomorrow, with the help of our guardian angel Rajeev we hope to wrap up our commitments in Dehli. We hope to achieve Neha's visa into America. Ganesha, I hate to abuse your authority, but please let this last obstacle be removed. We are ready to go home. Charlotte and family, we miss you dearly. We are anxious for personal space and air quality. We yearn for our beds and our showers and toilets. This has been the trip of a lifetime, but we are ready to wrap it up.
I will be praying for Ganesh for you. I remember that feeling, of being so grateful to India for giving me my daughter, of feeling moved by the Indian people and culture, of loving this country so much, and very much wanting to go home. Godspeed Erica!! Love, Emily
